Hillary Steinau
Hillary specializes in editorial design including magazines, catalogs, marketing materials, and print advertising. She has been working professionally in graphic design since 1993.
Hillary is a native of New York where she attended Parsons School of Design. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She moved to London in 1989 where she studied photography. After graduation Hillary stayed in London and worked on consumer magazines including Destination Discovery, Marie Claire, Prima, and Select. Hillary then moved to Munich where she designed and art directed German lifestyle magazines.
Hillary moved to Maine in 2003 and has enjoyed providing design services for both local and national clients including: Unity College, Maine Farmland Trust, Cedar Works Play Sets, SKORDO, Maine Maritime Academy and The Smithsonian National Zoo.
She is also an avid photographer. When not in the studio, Hillary is usually to be found in her back yard with her 3 Maine Coon cats and 10 hens.
